On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the film “Harry Potter and the sorcerer’s stone”, Emma Watson, the interpreter of Hermione, wanted to share a touching message on Instagram. Find out below.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone turns 20!
On December 5, 2001, the film Harry potter and the sorcerer’s stone. The public discovered for the first time on the big screen the little bespectacled wizard born a few years earlier in the imagination of JK Rowling. To interpret him and his two best friends Ron and Hermione, the production had unearthed three promising young talents: Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.
In the span of eight films, the three young actors have become superstars. The audience grew up with them and thrilled in front of their adventures, until the last scene of the Deathly Hallows. It was (already!) Ten years ago. Even if they pursued a career after the saga Harry Potter, these three roles will remain those of their life. And they are particularly attached to it.
If Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) is probably the one who talks the most about the magical saga on his social networks, Emma Watson is not left out. Indeed, the interpreter of Hermione Granger shared a long touching message on her Instagram account. In it, she pays tribute to the saga that made her known. His post has already been liked over 7 million times.
She testifies to her deep attachment to the saga, and to the character of Hermione:
Harry Potter was my home, my family, my world and Hermione is still my favorite fictional character of all time. (…) I am not only proud of what we brought to the saga as actors, but also of the children that we were, and of these adults who continue on their way.
She also wanted to thank the fans of the saga and the team.
