Series creators Harley Quinn, Patrick Schumacker and Justin Halpern, made a big promise to fans.
With the new season marking one of HBO Max’s late July releases, the series will explore the relationship between Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy.
In a recent interview, Schumacker and Halpern revealed that they do not intend to make the new couple, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, break up (via CBR).
“For me, we still have the occasional fan reaction of ‘I don’t like Harley and Hera together. She should come back with the Joker,’ which we never will,” Schumacker said. “Harley and Hera will never end up on the show as long as we have a say. This is something we never want to touch again.”
At the end of the second season, the villains were finally together after Poison Ivy left Kiteman at the altar.
