Harley Quinn: Creator teases fans about new partnership in the series

DC’s R-rated animated series, and a huge hit from the publisher, Harley Quinn is voiced by Kaley Cuoco of The Flight Attendant.

According to the showrunner, the new season will see Harley Quinn and Batgirl becoming friends, and possibly partners at one point, as seen in the trailer.

“They are so similar in their cadence and in their speech that I think it works. Especially this season of the show where we start to see Harley Quinn and Batgirl getting closer and finding that similarity,” he commented.

“This idea with these two characters that they’re half sisters – because they literally are,” Schumacker explained.

Series creators promise fans

Series creators Harley Quinn, Patrick Schumacker and Justin Halpern, made a big promise to fans.

In a recent interview, Schumacker and Halpern revealed that they do not intend to make the new couple, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, break up (via CBR).

“For me, we still have the occasional fan reaction of ‘I don’t like Harley and Hera together. She should come back with the Joker,’ which we never will,” Schumacker said. “Harley and Hera will never end up on the show as long as we have a say. This is something we never want to touch again.”

At the end of the second season, the villains were finally together after Poison Ivy left Kiteman at the altar.

Harley Quinn is available on HBO Max.
