Out of the remaining five places, the work of sewer chamber on the route from Phulbagh to Sai Baba Mandir will be completed by night. The chambers have been repaired at four places. It is worth mentioning that the Collector had filled a bond of Rs 5 lakh from the Additional Commissioner in the same meeting. The effect of which is now visible in the city.
The traffic police had already informed the administrative officials about the electric poles, hoardings, potholes and broken chambers that obstruct the traffic of the city. These photos were taken on 28 May 2020, but till 9 September 2021, these potholes, chambers, poles and hoardings were not fixed by the Municipal Corporation. Due to this, on Thursday, Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh got the additional commissioner Rajesh Srivastava to fill a bond of five lakh rupees. At the same time, police and traffic personnel are also keeping an eye on the works started by the Municipal Corporation from Friday and they are preparing the complete file by taking their photographs. There are 150 potholes and broken chambers in the city, due to which the traffic is obstructed. In addition, the general public is also a victim of accidents. Due to broken chambers, sometimes even the wheels of the vehicles get stuck in them. Traffic police personnel had prepared slides by taking photographs of potholes, poles, chambers, etc., obstructing traffic in the city for about a week from 28 May 2020. It was then handed over to the senior officers. After which there were constant discussions in the meetings of traffic management regarding filling of potholes and pole shifting etc., but even after this the municipal officials did not act. Due to this, this time he had to face the anger of the collector.
