Corona: BSF jawan’s report positive: In the corona examination of 2766 people who came from GR Medical College on Saturday, a patient was found infected. The person who got infected is a BSF Tekanpur jawan. He was ill for a few days, due to which he was found infected when he got tested. The jawan had got both doses of the vaccine. The Health Department says that the jawan is a resident of another state. There are currently two active corona patients in the district.
1.3 crore approved to get rid of electricity problem: Approval has been given for laying 11 KV line and transfer of five mega volt ampere to village Khurai and its adjoining border settlements of rural assembly constituency to get rid of the electricity problem. This work will be done at a cost of Rs 1 crore 38 lakh. Minister of State Bharat Singh Kushwaha had sent a letter to the Energy Minister and the power company in this regard. The Deputy General Manager of the power company apprised the minister that in the supplementary action plan of the current financial year in village Khurai, approval has been given to install transformers in power substation Khurai.
