Great Hunger Games addition: “Game of Thrones” star plays central role in “Hunger Games 5”

The prequel, The Hunger Games: A Song of the Bird and the Serpent, is in production. A well-known “Game of Thrones” star is now joining the cast, as was recently revealed.

It’s been seven years since we had to say goodbye to Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and the Hunger Games with “The Hunger Games – Mockingjay Part 2”. But after the main series came to an end, last April the prequel was released in cinemas with a first so-called teaser “The Hunger Games: The Song of the Bird and the Serpent” approved.

The cast of the fifth feature film includes Euphoria star Hunter Schafer, West Side Story actress Rachel Zegler, Ms. Marvel” actress Laurel Marsden and the Hollywood star Jason Schwartzman, who is best known from the comedies by Wes Anderson. Now, however, the cast has been expanded to include another famous personality, because how deadline reports, “Game of Thrones” star Peter Dinklage will be involved in the events.

The 53-year-old actor will be playing the role of Casa Highbottom, the dean of the academy. He will also be joined by Tom Blyth as a young Coriolanus Snow, whom you may know from previous Hunger Games films. Director Francis Lawrence revealed of the characters:

“Dean Highbottom is one of the most influential people in Snow’s life. As the stern and vengeful face behind the games, he sets the rules that will largely determine the fate of Coriolanus. I am very happy that Peter [Dinklage] will bring him to life.”
