Guillermo Del Toro’s latest series project “Cabinet of Curiosities” has received its first teaser trailer. The eight-part horror spectacle looks quite appealing.

After Guillermo Del Toro conjured up another horror story with “Nightmare Alley” on the screen, he devotes himself to his latest project “Cabinet of Curiosities” now an anthology series. The recently released first teaser trailer now gives you a foretaste.

Guillermo Del Toro’s anthology series “Cabinet of Curiosities”, previously known as “10 After Midnight”, tells eight atmospheric spooky stories in eight episodes. Each episode was directed by a well-known horror filmmaker. However, the Mexican Oscar winner does not act as a director himself in the production, but only as a kind Film curator and screenwriter.

The following trailer does not yet reveal too much about the plot of the individual episodes, but it already gives us the small nuances dark horror flair. In addition, the almost one-minute teaser trailer provides the Cast of the mini series which includes “The Walking Dead” star Andrew Lincoln, comedian Eric André, “Harry Potter” star Rupert Grint, “Kingsman” actress Sofia Boutella and Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham.

A respected director from the horror film genre was recruited for each of the eight episodes. These include Jennifer Kent (“The Babadook”), Panos Cosmatos (“Mandy”), David Prior (“The Empty Man”), Ana Lily Amirpour (“A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night”), Vincenzo Natali (“Cube”) ), Catherine Hardwicke (“Twilight”), Keith Thomas (“The Vigil”) and Guillermo Navarro (“Hannibal”). Netflix also previously announced that Guillermo Del Toro will be writing the screenplays for two of the eight episodes.

When exactly Guillermo Del Toro’s cabinet of horrors will open its doors to Netflix audiences is still unclear at the moment. However, the teaser trailer promises one Release date for 2022, so that by the end of the year at the latest we can be scared and have fun with the eight stories.
