On February 28, 2007, Geneviève Lhermitte committed irreparable harm by murdering her five children: Yasmine, Nora, Myriam, Mina and Mehdi, aged 15, 12, 10, 7 and 3 respectively. Geneviève Lhermitte therefore breathed her last breath at the Leonardo da Vinci Hospital, on the Vesalius site, in Montigny-le-Tilleul in the Charleroi region.
