Characters from Eternals, Phastos and her husband are not Marvel’s first live-action gay couple. In fact, as much as many fans don’t know or don’t remember, the first one came in the Fugitives series.
Two young women who became romantically involved in Fugitives are Karolina Dean (Virginia Gardner) and Nico Minoru (Lyrica Okano). They initially had interests in other members of the group, but after a while Nico confessed his love for Karolina, and they eventually became a couple.

Nico and Karolina are actually Marvel’s first live-action gay couple, not Phastos and her husband.
However, it is worth noting that the series Fugitivos does not take place within the MCU, despite being an adaptation of a Marvel comic, so it is natural that the gay couple from Eternos will end up receiving more prominence.
