Friends write a letter for deceased Bo (24): “Each kriek or Strongbow will remind us of you”

In the open reminder letter, Bo’s friends write that it will be strange not to see him in De Kaller again. “You were there on all opening days, often even before the doors opened. You were also always present at events. But the next event will be a bit of a swallow for us.”

“A kriek or a Strongbow will never be ordered again like you did”, they write further. “A ‘raspberry’, ‘ne rooie’ or ‘my brand’, you asked. And then it was a guess which of the two you meant. Every raspberry or Strongbow we’re going to hold will remind us of you. But they will always be there for you.”

“You also liked to play beer pong. Well, the next beer pong we’ll play on you and then we’ll drink this beer together, on you. Your photo will always stay with us, along the beer pong, where you liked to play. This is not a ‘goodbye’, but a ‘see you later’. See you. We will never forget you, dear Bo, we will always think of you.”

Below you can read the full letter from the members of De Kaller:

Dear Bo,

The first few weeks it will feel very strange for all of us. Walk into the room, but don’t see you again. You were there, all opening days, often even before the doors were open. Also always there at events, at the next event it will be a bit of a swallow for us..

A kriek or a strongbow will never be ordered again like you did. A ‘ raspberry ‘ or ‘ ne red ‘ or ‘ my brand ‘.. And then it was guessing which of the 2 you meant.

Every raspberry or every strongbow we’re going to hold will remind us of you. But they will always be there for you.

You also liked to play beer pong, oh well, next beer pong we will play on you and drink this beer together, on you!

We will never forget you, your photo will always stay with us, along the beer pong, where you liked to play.

This is not a goodbye, but a see you later. See you. We will never forget you dear Bo, we will always think of you.

Condolences to the whole family and all his friends.

The Caller.
