“Full House” star Bob Saget is dead
In the 80s and 90s, Bob Saget thrilled an audience of millions as the widower Danny Tanner in the sitcom “Full House”. Now the US comedian has been discovered dead in a hotel. According to investigators, there is no evidence of crime or drug use.
US comedian Bob Saget, who inspired millions of people in the 1980s and 1990s as the star of the television series “Full House”, was found dead in a hotel room in the USA. Orange County, Florida police said that morning police officers found an “unresponsive man in a hotel room” at a Ritz-Carlton hotel.
The man was identified as Robert Saget and pronounced dead on the spot. The investigators found no evidence of a criminal background or drug use, the police wrote on Twitter. The cause of death was initially not known. Saget was 65 years old.
The comedian was on a stage tour in Florida. The tour across the US should last until June. After an appearance on Sunday night, Saget still had himself on twitter addressed to his fans.[display-posts orderby="rand"]
Married in their second marriage since 2018, Saget played the widower Danny Tanner in the US series “Full House”, who is overwhelmed with everyday family life with his three daughters after the accidental death of his wife. The television journalist asks his brother-in-law and best friend to move in with him and help with his upbringing. John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin played alongside Saget. The actor also appeared in the sequel “Fuller House” from 2016 to 2020.
“Full House” ran in the US for eight years, from 1987 to 1995, on ABC. In Germany, RTL began broadcasting in 1992.
