How the time flies! This weekend is already the last race weekend of the year in Formula 1. Before the 2022 season ends tomorrow with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (start: 2 p.m.), qualifying is scheduled for this Saturday, November 19, at 3 p.m. on the Yas Marina Circuit.
The grid positions for tomorrow’s race are determined in three sections – Q1, Q2 and Q3. The ten fastest drivers from Q2 make it into Q3. They then compete for the coveted pole position.
Qualifying no longer has any influence in the battle for the World Championship rankings. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) has long been the world champion.

The transmission rights to Formula 1 this season are included in free TV RTL. Through a cooperation with the main rights holder sky it is possible for the private broadcaster to show four races of the season live on free-to-air television. There RTL but has already shown four races live and qualifying sessions are generally not included in the acquired rights package, qualifying at the Abu Dhabi GP is not being shown on free-to-air television today.

You can follow qualifying live on pay TV. on Sky Sport F1 (HD), Sky Sport Top Event and Sky Sport UHD the session will be shown live from 2.30 p.m. A Sky subscription is required for this, with which you have been activated for the live broadcasts of Formula 1.
