During the fashion week in Paris, she was assaulted by armed robbers who – disguised as policemen – threatened access to the apartment she lived in during her stay in France.

Here they tied up the reality star and threatened her with a gun and then locked her out on the toilet. Then they emptied the apartment for exclusive jewelry worth up to 75 million kroner – including a ring for the neat sum of 30 million kroner.

For more than five years, the case has been under investigation and now the total of twelve people suspected of the incident will be prosecuted. It writes Sky News.

However, a date for the trial has not yet been set.

In recent years, several of the suspects have been continuously released from prison while awaiting trial. They have become so for health reasons.

One of them is 67-year-old Yunice Abbas, who is one of the five men accused of carrying out the robbery. Last year, he published a book about the episode entitled ‘J’ai séquestré Kim Kardashian’, which can be translated to ‘I kidnapped Kim Kardashian’.

In addition, Aomar Ait Khedache – the alleged mastermind behind the crime – sent a letter to Kim Kardashian from his prison cell apologizing.

Then he said he regrets his actions and has realized what psychological damage the incident has caused to the reality star.
