Currently, a new and more woke version of ‘Paradise’ is running across the screens at home.

And at some point, the program has at least managed to be more inclusive. For the first season with the new goals has managed to make an impression in Danish reality history.

In the current season, the two participants Damien Smith and Zilas Gregersen have sex – as the first male couple ever.

And it is not without pride, says Zilas Gregersen, when he is in the latest episode of the BT podcast ‘Helt vek med Hemmingsen’.

“It’s kind of double. Basically, I’m really proud of it. It sounds funny to say that you are proud that you have had sex on TV, but in this case I will actually stand by it,’ says the ‘Paradise’ participant with a laugh.

Zilas Gregersen has previously described himself to BT as “a traveling advertising column for homosexuality”.

In the Hemmingsen podcast, however, he says that he was still a bit leery of having sex on TV.

But he was “so enamored” of Damien Smith – who himself has not been as open about his attraction to both men and women – so Zilas Gregersen decided to “live in the present”.

“I had a bit of a hard time with the idea, but now that I’ve seen it and they don’t show it, but that you only know that it happened, I’m really happy about it and I can stand by it,” says the ‘Paradise’ participant.

“And I think it’s fucking cool to be a pioneer – just like Christopher Columbus was a pioneer,” he jokes, referring to the explorer who rediscovered America.

“The most important thing is just to normalize it. It’s not because it’s supposed to be a big thing, except that we’re the first and all that, but that it’s not more than that either, but just like all sorts of others who have sex. “

But even though Damien Smith and Zilas Gregersen have flirted quite a bit in ‘Paradise’ – and Zilas has since seen that Damien “doesn’t act like the coolest guy in that program” – they are content to have “a nice relationship” today . They are neither enemies, but neither are they lovers.
