In an interview with Esquire, Keanu Reeves broke the silence over the rumors surrounding his possible introduction to Marvel Cinematic Universe. Praising the studio’s work, the actor revealed that it would be an honor to participate in the MCU.
“It would be an honor! [O MCU] have some amazing and visionary directors, and they’re doing something that no one has ever done before. It’s something special, in terms of scale, ambition and production. It would be nice to be a part of that.”
The actor’s name has been probed by the studio for some time, and it is speculated that he may bring the villain to life. Nightmare – which should be introduced in the post-credits scene of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse in Madness’.
Reeves is being played by Marvel and DC, but the first is winning negotiations.
O Nightmare is one of the title-character’s most traditional enemies and is an interdimensional demon that feeds on people’s fears in their sleep.
However, no confirmation was made.
In 2019, Kevin Feige had expressed their interest in introducing Reeves no MCU: “We invite him in almost every movie we make. I don’t know when or if he will join Marvel’s Universal, but we are very interested in finding a right way for that to happen.”
It is worth remembering what the new movie of Reeves, the long awaited ‘Matrix Resurrections‘, will be released in national cinemas in the day December 22nd.

Two sequels followed, ‘Matrix: Reloaded’ e ‘Matrix: Revolutions‘, both released in theaters in 2003.
In all, the trilogy earned US$1.6 billion dollars for a Warner Bros Pictures.
