The Winchesters, the first successful Supernatural spin-off, is about to air its first season finale. The final episode will air in the United States on March 7. With the release of a new teaser, many fans believe that Dean, the protagonist of Supernatural, will appear at the conclusion.
“In this plot set in the 1970s, Dean Winchester narrates the story of how his parents John Winchester and Mary Campbell met, fell in love and battled monsters while searching for his missing parents,” states the official synopsis of The Winchesters.
The series stars Meg Donnelly (Zombies) and Drake Rodger (Murder RX) as Mary Campbell and John Winchester. Jensen Ackles, the Dean of Supernatural, returns as the narrator.
Below is why fans of The Winchesters think Dean will appear, in the flesh, at the end of Season 1; check out!
The Winchesters finale could feature Dean
The final chapter of season 1 of The Winchesters, called “Hey! That’s No Way to Say Goodbye” (Hey! That’s not the way to say goodbye), as we mentioned earlier, will be shown on March 7th.
The episode preview shows the hunters preparing for an epic showdown that could change their lives forever.
Although they have the help of Millie and Betty, John and Mary are still amateurs in the fight against monsters, which puts them at a great disadvantage.
The teaser also features a brief appearance by a mysterious figure. For many fans, this figure is none other than Dean Winchester, John and Mary’s eldest son.
As you already know, Jensen Ackles is already part of the cast of The Winchesters, but only as a narrator. The actor is also one of the executive producers of the series.
Supernatural fans, of course, are very excited for Dean’s possible return on The Winchesters.
“We know Dean so well, we know it’s him just by his arm!” commented one fan on Twitter, referring to the mysterious figure that appears in the teaser for The Winchesters.
The preview in question shows John receiving a letter, and then features a photo of Dean. The inclusion of this scene made many fans believe that Jensen Ackles will be present, in flesh and blood, in the final episode of Season 1.
“It’s definitely Dean. John is in his uniform. Someone hands you a piece of paper that looks like a letter. Then, a black jacket similar to the one Dean wears in the first episode appears. It’s him, our special guy,” said another fan.

In Brazil, The Winchesters is available on HBO Max.
