Fallout: Series from the creators of Westworld gets images with iconic armor

Amazon Prime Video will adapt the famous Fallout game franchise for the small screen. The first images of the series were released, straight from the backstage. The series is headlined by HBO’s Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan.

The photos show someone in one of the iconic blue outfits of Vault-Tec shelter residents.

In addition, in one of the photos we can also see powerful armor, but without the helmet, another highlight of the games.

Finally, we still see the set from the inside of one of the shelters under construction. It is very likely that such locations will appear a lot in the series.

With their Amazon project, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy will bring “the harshness of the wasteland against the previous generation’s utopian idea of a better world through nuclear power” to TV.

The project will seek to maintain the “stern tone” of the games, which ensures that it is still “full of moments of ironic humor and core B-movie fantasies” that franchise players know and love.

The series is from Amazon Studios and Kilter Films in association with game production companies Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.

Nolan and Lisa Joy, who have signed a deal with Amazon, will executive produce alongside Athena Wickham for Kilter Films, with Todd Howard overseeing Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman at Bethesda Softworks.

There is still no release date for the Fallout series on Amazon Prime Video.
