‘Eternals’: Sersi Returns for Sequel? Gemma Chan responds!

The adaptation of the comics ‘Eternal’, directed by Oscar winner Chloe Zhao (‘Nomadland’), is now available on Disney+ it’s at Marvel Studios would already be planning the future of the heroes in a sequel.

And during an interview with the magazine W, the actress Gemma Chan was asked about the possibility of returning to ‘eternals 2‘. In response, she was categorical and even joked about the extensive contract commonly signed between the actors and the Marvel.

“Yes, Marvel owns us for life.”

eternal‘ follows the journey of near-immortal beings, products of the evolutionary divergence that gave rise to the human race millennia ago. The characters relate to several concepts already introduced in previous films in the universe, from the Celestials (which appeared in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘) to Thanos, whose own mother was one of his victims.

Despite the mixed reception, the film was a considerable success at the box office and grossed. US$401.8 million worldwide.
