Epiphany 2022: zoom on the prettiest galettes des rois … traditional and original!

It is always pleasant to be given good excuses to indulge in gluttony: the Epiphany is precisely one of those celebrations that allow multiple occasions to do so! If the calendar wants us to “pull the kings” on January 6, the tradition stretches out over the month, allowing the precious galette to be tasted for 30 days!

To bring a touch of originality without altering the traditional galette des rois, Gregory Doyen has added a supplement to his frangipane … roasted hazelnuts which provide a subtly roasted taste.
