Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) appeared to have died in ‘Star Wars: Return of the Jedi‘, but resurfaced in ‘The Rise of Skywalker‘, finally meeting its end.
But, it seems that the villain will show up in the saga once again…
During his participation in a fan convention, McDiarmid confirmed that the villain will return in a series of Disney+.
according to SFFGazettethe star said that:
“There’s a certain series that’s coming out soon, set at a time that I think is very active. Whether or not you will see my physical body, I cannot comment. But you will certainly feel my presence.”
How ‘the Mandalorian‘ takes place after his supposed death in ‘Return of the Jedi‘, everything indicates that Palpatine may have a cameo in the series of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi‘.
Since the plot is set during the rise of the Galactic Empire, nothing more natural than bringing it back.
Anyway, his statement indicates that he can only appear in Hologram talking to Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen).
Remembering that ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi‘ will premiere with a double episode on may, 27.

Besides Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse return as Owen and Beru Lars, Luke Skywalker’s uncles.
The cast also has O’Shea Jackson Jr (‘Straight Outta Compton’), Rupert Friend (‘Homeland’), Moses Ingram (‘The Queen’s Gamito’), Sung Kang (‘Fast and furious’) Kumail Nanjiani (‘Eternal’), Indira Varma (‘Game of Thrones’), Simone Kessell (‘Reckoning’) and Benny Safdie (‘Uncut Gems’).
