Ed Sheeran’s second concert in Denmark has been temporarily halted due to bad weather.

This has been confirmed by BT from concertgoers in Øresundsparken.

The first time was during the warm-up artist’s performance. Here, Maisie Peters had to leave the stage because there was a storm coming, say the organizers over the loudspeakers.

A concert guest explains to BT that lightning has been seen around Øresund Park.

Ed Sheeran then went on stage, but the concert was once again paused.

Earlier today, DMI warned that there was a risk of rain and local cloudbursts over Amager.

“There is a risk of heavy rain and heavy showers in the northern and eastern parts of Jutland, Læsø, Anholdt and Zealand until late in the evening, which may include thunder, hail and strong gusts of wind and cause local cloudbursts. A cold front from Sylt to Gothenburg is slowly moving east. In connection with the front, there will be rain and showers, which may be heavy and with thunder and cause local cloudbursts.’

“In front of the cold front on Zealand, heavy rain and thunderstorms are moving, which may include hail and strong gusts of wind and cause local cloudbursts. In connection with rain and showers locally, more than 24 mm may fall in 6 hours. There is also a risk of local cloudbursts, which means more than 15 mm of precipitation in half an hour. However, the showers are expected to move relatively quickly, so the risk of cloudbursts is small.’

BT’s reviewer was extremely satisfied with the first concert.
