‘Dynasty’ CANCELED by The CW after 5 seasons

THE CW officially canceled the series’dynasty‘ after five seasons.

The fifth cycle recorded an average of 0.1 in the demo, and a total of 410k viewers – which represents the station’s WORST audience.

despite the CW having created the custom of not canceling its veteran series in recent years, it seems that its possible sale was responsible for the mass cancellation that its original productions have suffered in recent months.

Through Twitter, the actress Elizabeth Gillies just stated: “I am very proud of my ‘Dynasty’ family.”

Created by Stephanie Savage, Josh Schwartz and Sallie Patrickthe production is a reboot of the eponymous classic series launched in 1981.

The plot follows two of America’s richest families, the Carringtons and the Colbys, as they fight for control of their fortunes and their children. The story revolves around two women at odds: Fallon Carrington, daughter of billionaire Blake Carrington, and her future stepmother, Cristal, a Hispanic woman who wants to enter the family and class of the most powerful in America.

The cast has Elizabeth Gillies, Daniella Alonso, Elaine Hendrix, Rafael de la Fuente, Sam Underwood, Michael Michele, Robert Christopher Riley, Sam Adegoke, maddison brown, Adam Huber, Eliza Bennett and Grant Show.
