Durek Verrett has complained about Norwegian Se & Hør.

The Norwegian princess Märtha Louise’s fiancé has reported the weekly to the Norwegian version of the Press Board called the Press Professional Committee.

The complaint is due to an article about the controversial shaman’s kidney disease, which was brought in December, writes Dagbladet.

The complaint states that Durek Verrett believes that the reader is left with the impression that he has submitted to the article, even though he informed Se & Hør that he “does not want any mention or publication of his illness”.

Therefore, he believes that the weekly has violated three of the Norwegian press ethics guidelines.

The shaman believes that Se & Hør has not been considerate of him and his situation, has not respected his private life and has not been journalistic.

Se & Hør’s editor-in-chief confirms to Dagbladet that they have received the complaint from Durek Verrett.

»See & Hear looks forward to a thorough consideration in the committee and their assessment of the case. We are now working on a response to the complaint, «says the weekly magazine’s editor Ulf André Andersen, who did not want to comment on the matter further.
