‘Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO’ gets premiere in national cinemas, synopsis and trailer

Crunchyroll and Toei Animation announce the release of ‘Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO‘, the newest film in the popular and world-renowned anime franchise.

The global theatrical premiere must begin from next August.

The Red Ribbon army had been destroyed by Son Goku… But certain individuals decided to carry out their mission and created the ultimate androids: Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. These two androids – who call themselves “superheroes” – decide to attack Piccolo and Gohan! What will be the purpose of the New Red Ribbon Army? When danger is imminent, that’s when the Super Hero awakens!

This is Crunchyroll’s first cinematic release on a global scale. In North America, the film will be distributed entirely by Crunchyroll.

The film will be released in Japanese, with subtitles and dubbing.

Akira Toriyama is the original creator of the manga and anime’Dragon Ball‘ and ‘Dragon Ball Z‘ however the new manga and anime ‘Dragon Ball Super‘ was made collaboration with a longtime fan of Toriyama and the original work, Toyotaro.
