Discovery+ starts on June 28th in Germany. The new streaming service also has a show with the “cat” in its portfolio.

When it comes to show business, Daniela Katzenberger (35) is doing well. From today, June 22nd, the new episodes of “Daniela Katzenberger – Familienglück auf Mallorca” will not only be available on RTLzwei every Wednesday from 8:15 p.m. It also gets its own format with a streaming service that will start in a few days in this country.

Discovery+ is scheduled to start on June 28 in Germany and Austria, according to the streaming service, which specializes in non-fiction and real-life entertainment formats. In addition to live sports, true crime and lifestyle programs, this also includes local formats such as the in-house production “Katzenberger @Work: Gülle statt Glamor”.

What is Daniela Katzenberger’s new show about?

In “Katzenberger @Work” the “cat” goes to a farm where, among other things, she is supposed to harvest potatoes, make sausage and drive around with the tractor. “It was really the experience of my life, I’ve rarely sweated and smelled so badly,” explains the 35-year-old in a press release. “I have farmer Peter and his family to thank for the fact that I work hard on the farm and don’t just run off with the tractor. I never would have thought that a man would make me milk cows, pluck chickens, drive liquid manure onto the fields and up at 5 a.m..”

The whole thing is to be broadcast when the service starts on June 28th. First, there are two of the six 45-minute episodes to see. The others are to be published every Tuesday.

Of the Streaming service is offered directly in two variants – with and free of advertising. The ad-free subscription costs EUR 5.99 per month or EUR 59.99 per year. The variant with advertising is 3.99 euros per month or 39.99 euros per year. Users with a Sky Q subscription, on the other hand, get access for twelve months free of charge. At the start, more than 700 films and series with a total of almost 12,000 episodes should be available.
