Directors of Ms. Marvel Reveals MCU Boss’s Reaction When They Went To DC

Ms. Marvel has already arrived on Disney+ and the directors of the first episode will also helm an upcoming DC project, Batgirl. Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi talked about Kevin Feige’s reaction to getting to direct the film.

According to the filmmakers, they received nothing but support from Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige.

“We wrote Marvel Studios an email saying we were going to do Batgirl, and then Kevin Feige, Victoria Alonso and Lou D’Esposito said, ‘Congratulations!’ They were super happy for us,” Fallah told The Hollywood Reporter. “People say there’s a rivalry, but it’s not like that. They get stronger and we feel the vibe between DC and Marvel.”

“They are big fans of each other,” added El Arbi. “Kevin was constantly asking questions, ‘How are you? What will happen?’ He was a real fanboy, so that was really cool.”

Ms. Marvel is on Disney+
