Dindori News: Formation of 11 benches for disposal of cases in Lok Adalat

Dindori (Rep. of New Zealand). Under the guidance of Principal District and Sessions Judge Harishan Yadav, National Lok Adalat is being organized on September 11, adopting preventive measures against corona virus. Nine division benches have been constituted in the district court and two in the tehsil court. In relation to the Lok Adalat to be organized by the Principal District and Sessions Judge on September 11, in the meeting room of the District Court, meeting with all the judges and other office bearers of the Council including the President of the Association, Reva Pandey, more and more people are benefited in the Lok Adalat. Instructions were issued to Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Praveen Patel told that in the cases deserving of the agreement, the disposal of the cases in the Lok Adalat on the basis of the agreement will save valuable time of the parties. Describing the benefits of Lok Adalat, he has appealed to the parties to attend Lok Adalat in maximum numbers and get their cases resolved.

Relaxation will be given as per rules

It was told that on the day of National Lok Adalat, all the 11 division benches have jurisdiction in legally deserving cases, including family disputes, criminal, civil, check dishonor, motor vehicle accident claim, electrical related and various cases pending in courts of other nature on the basis of mutual conciliation. but will be resolved. In addition to the above mentioned cases pending in the court, the cases related to water, property tax, electricity and telephone arrears, recovery of loans of banks will also be resolved by the respective division benches of Lok Adalat on the basis of pleadings. Civil or criminal cases disposed of in Lok Adalat in which court fees have been paid, such court fees are refunded. It has been told that in pre-litigation cases of electricity bill arrears, property tax and water tax, exemption will be given especially on the day of Lok Adalat with certain conditions. The parties who appear on the day of Lok Adalat for the settlement of their electricity bill, property tax or water tax related matters, they will be able to take advantage of the exemption.
