Discover Dimdimsum Paris on video and win one of the 8 menus for 2 at stake:
On arrival, in front, we discover the queen of Chinese dumplings who is busy making the dim-sum and others bao before our eyes (stunned). The room is revealed in length with a few tables in front of the counter, tables on the terrace and the largest at the back of the room. There are about 40 seats for this restaurant on a human scale, popular and trendy, which reveals a pretty home decor based on steamed baskets.
In the basement, there are two karaoke rooms which are open to amateur or professional singers like us (and even to pots and pans): a small one suitable for 2 to 6 people and a larger one that can go up to 20 people in keeping warm. If a menu is offered on site, the nice idea is to order a range of ravioli to share with friends or family.
On the menu, we discover a whole range of Baozi ranging from veggie to classic through the version truffle and cheese. On the ravioli side, xialongbao are also available in veggie, pork, truffle and shrimp, we also discover the good ones siu may and the flowery hargow with prawns. Everything is cooked to order and we enjoy the freshness of the dishes which are accompanied by nice cocktails such as the lychee one or hot tea for the chilly.
The curious will be tempted by the Ji Dan Geng, a traditional and popular ultra-hot dish made with steamed egg flan, found nowhere else. We also recommend the gourmet Lotus rice which offers you a delicious sticky rice with chicken and pork, prawns or lacquered pork, cooked in a lotus leaf, a treat.
Side baosthey are also to be discovered in versions sweet with cream, taro or durian for the adventurers. Pandan steam cake, coconut pearl and yuzu chocolate fondant are also waiting for you as a dessert to end the meal well.
At the house of Dimdimsum, the idea is to order several dishes to put like us in the center of the table and to share in joy and gluttony. As for prices, count between €4 and €6 for starters, €7 to €8.50 for baos served by 2 and €7 to €9 for steamed ravioli served by 4.
So we’re having a good time ravioli restaurant in song?
