Kukshi. There was enthusiasm in the markets for Ganesh Chaturthi festival. On Friday, the idol of Shri Ganesh was installed in houses and pandals with the cheers of Ganpati Bappa Moria. Dancing to the tune of Dholak, the devotees carried the idol of Lord Ganesha. Ganeshji was received by the public Ganeshotsav Samiti with gaiety.
Worshiped by making a sage of clay
Kukshi/Padiyal. On the occasion of Rishi Panchami in the village, women offered prayers in the Ram temple. Purnima Joshi made a sage made of clay and got him worshiped and recited the story. During this the women of the village were present.
Krishna’s procession taken out with bandwagon
Barmandal. (New Zealand News). On Hartalika Teej, women worship Lord Gaurishankar and listen to the fast story. Lord Krishna-Rukmani marriage and Krishna Katha were organized under the aegis of Mother Annapurna Bhakta Mandal in Annapurna Mata Temple located in Paduni of village. Lord Krishna’s procession was taken out from Bhavani Mata temple with bandwagons. The devotees rejoiced in this. The procession was welcomed by the villagers by showering flowers at various places. Lord Indra received the procession of Lord Krishna with drizzling showers.
In the procession, young men and women were dancing and enjoying the marriage of God. The procession was received with drums and drums at Annapurna Mata Temple. The narrator Kavita Krishna Kumawat recited the story of Krishna Leela. While narrating the account of various pastimes of Krishna, he said that just as the monkeys reside in Vrindavan and Radha’s name is hailed, similarly Baramandal is also the abode of Vrindavan. There is no cross to Krishna Leela. The place where satsang takes place, Lord’s story takes place, Lord Shiva also sings the glory of that place. Villagers, fasting girls and women listened to the story.
