DELETED Scene from ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Shows Important Moment Reminiscent of the Original

Top Gun: Maverick‘ has become a box office phenomenon with more than US$ 760 million grossed worldwide, becoming the third BIGGEST box office of the year – behind only ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘ (US$930.2M) and ‘Batman‘ (US$770.3M).

Now, Paramount has released an extended scene cut from the movie that features Rooster (Miles Teller) playing the song Great Balls of Fire, same as his father Goose (Anthony Edwards) played in the original 1986 film.

In the film, the scene was toned down.

In the US, the film has already grossed US$ 409.3 million – which represents the BIGGEST domestic box office of the star’s career Tom Cruise. In the international market, $353.7 million.

In total, production has already collected solid $763 million worldwide. For a while, ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout Effect‘ (US$791.6M) remains the largest global fundraiser in the Tom Cruise.
