In DC League of Super-Pets Krypto has the same powers as its owner, but doesn’t know how to play with other animals. Everything changes when he is forced to lead a team of other animals to save Metropolis.

Jared Stern, director and screenwriter of the film, said: “I wanted there to be a real threat and not just a fun movie, but there was a real danger to superheroes that can only be solved by a bunch of animals. I want people to leave the room thinking that animation is a technique and not a genre. I want them to think ‘It was a great superhero movie and it had all the typical elements: great action scenes and it was really fun.“.

The images show Merton the turtle (Natasha Lyonne), PB the pig (Vanessa Bayer), Chip the squirrel (Diego Luna) and Ace (Kevin Hart).

The idea for the film was born while visiting an animal shelter: “They looked so helpless. I don’t know why, but I thought ‘What if they have powers?’“.
The relationship between Krypto and Ace will then be at the center of the plot: “Ace comes from the street, he is a puppy who lived in a kennel and knows more about being a normal dog than Krypto“.
