Daredevil joins Spider-Man in new MCU series; see details

Marvel promised a lot of news about the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, and it delivered. We already know when Daredevil will show up again.

The hero’s appearance will be in Spider-Man: Freshman Year, an animated series that will come to Disney+.

Continues after advertising

As announced at SDCC 2022 (via Discussing Film), Charlie Cox will voice the character and join Spider-Man in the fight against crime.

Cox, of course, played the Man Without Fear in the Netflix series, which is now available on Disney+.

More on Spider-Man: Freshman Year

The first images of the series were also released, as we can see above. Daredevil’s look, in particular, is quite different.

Instead of the classic red (or yellow), he appears in a black uniform, with eyes and other details in red.

The series seems to adopt a more cartoonish look, more aimed at a young-adult or even children’s audience.

Spider-Man: Freshman Year Coming in 2024 Disney+. The second season has already been confirmed.
