Over the last few years there have been many novels that have been adapted for the screen through a film or a TV series, just think of the success of Netflix Darkness and bonesto Enola Holmes oa Gray Man by Mark Greaney. It is now being added to these titles Daisy Jones & The Six: The miniseries with an all-star cast, based on the novel of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid, is undoubtedly on its way to becoming one of the best shows of the moment on Prime Video.
As the synopsis states, the series created by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber “follows a rock band in the 70s from their rise in the Los Angeles music scene to become one of the most famous bands in the world and explores the reason for their split at the height of their success“. The book was a real success and for the last few months everyone was eager to find out if the show would live up to Reid’s work. One of the first good news for fans came way back in the fall of 2019, when it was announced that Riley Keough and Camila Morrone had joined the cast of the series, while Sam Claflin, Suki Waterhouse and Will Harrison joined the cast in February 2020. But where have we seen the cast members of Daisy Jones & The Six before?
Riley Keough (Daisy Jones)
The first star on the list is Riley Keough, who plays the main character Daisy Jones: over the years, the actress has acted in many films that you may have seen such as The Runaways, The Good DoctorMagicMike American Honey, It Comes At Night, The Logan scam (together with Sebastian Stan), Jack’s house, The LodgeMad Max: Fury Road and many more.
As for television, Keough, daughter of singer Lisa Marie Presley and musician Danny Keough, had an important role in the show entitled The Girlfriend Experience and more recently was part of the cast of Terminal Listthe series starring Chris Pratt that was recently renewed for a second season.
We also remember that Riley began her career at a very young age by modeling since the age of twelve for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Dolce & Gabbana. In 2003 she appeared on the cover of Vogue, alongside her mother and her grandmother Priscilla, while in 2005 she worked for Christian Dior, walking the spring / summer collection and becoming the testimonial of the Miss Dior Chérie perfume. She the actress is also known to have been in a relationship with actor Alex Pettyfer, met during the filming of Magic Mike.

Sam Claflin (Billy Dunne)
While Sam Claflin may be a new face for many viewers, the young Briton has already had a very prolific career in entertainment: having made his debut with the role of Richard in the TV miniseries The Pillars of the Earththe young performer landed the role of Philip, a missionary who falls in love with a mermaid, in the fourth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean series where he starred alongside mega-galactic stars such as Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz.
In 2012 comes the role of William in Snow White and the huntsman which gives him global notoriety; immediately after he was hired to play the part of Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the second film based on the famous trilogy of Hunger Games. In 2014 he was nominated by Glamor magazine “man of the year” and was later chosen to act in films such as The finest hourstay with me and The Nightingale. Claflin also had a main role in the last few seasons of Peaky Blinders and starred in White Heat, Any Human Heart And The Pillars of the Earth.
Camila Morrone (Camila Dunne)
Next on the list is Camila Morrone, who plays Camila Dunne in the new series: compared to some of her colleagues Morrone is a rather new face in the world of television, having had only one major role as a guest star on the show Love Advent. However, Camila starred in several films before landing this part in the Amazon miniseries.
Some of these titles are Bukowski, Never Goin’ BackDeath Wish, Valley Girl And Gonzo Girl. In addition to all these roles in successful films, the American model and actress with Argentine citizenship is also known to the general public for having been engaged to Leonardo DiCaprio from 2017 to August 2022, when she broke up with the Titanic star after be 25 years old.
Will Harrison (Graham Dunne)
Just like Morrone, Will Harrison, who plays Graham Dunne in the Amazon series, is also a fairly new face in Hollywood: the actor has so far had a guest-starring role on the show. Madam Secretary and landed a part in Tess Harrison’s film titled This Is A Film About My Mother. That of Daisy Jones & The Six It’s Harrison’s first major role in a blockbuster miniseries and it will be very interesting to see what his next steps are.
Suki Waterhouse (Karen Sirko)
Suki Waterhouse plays Karen Sirko in the show inspired by the book by Taylor Jenkins Reid: the actress has appeared in many successful films and television series such as the franchise of divergentespecially in The Divergent Series: Insurgent, in The Bad Batch, Love, Rosiein Pride and Prejudice, in the video game adaptation Detective Pikachuin The Girl Who Invented Kissingin Assassination Nation and much more.
In 2019 she was the protagonist of the fourth episode of the first season of Into the Darktitled The Last New Year’s Eve and has also landed supporting roles in TV shows such as Material Girl and The White Princess. Waterhouse has also had a career in the music business: In 2016, she released her first song brutally under the SUB POP record label, followed by Valentine, Coolest place in the world and Johanna. In 2022, however, his debut album arrived I Can’t let Gocontaining the singles Moves And My Mind.
Tom Wright (Teddy Price)
Last on this list, though certainly not least, is Tom Wright, who in Daisy Jones & The Six plays Teddy Price. The actor has had many roles in films and television shows over the years: from Underground USA, The von Bulow mystery, Runaway Island, Palmetto – A murky deception, Handyman’s Curse And Honeydrippers until show how Martial Law, Extreme, Granite Flatsas well as a recurring role on Station 19.
Though primarily known for playing Mr. Morgan in Seinfeld, Tom has also performed on Broadway with A Taste of Honey, which received two Tony Award nominations. Throughout her stage career she has performed in such notable venues as American Place Theater, the Manhattan Theater Club, the New York Theater Workshop, the Actors Theater of Louisville, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Hartford Internship.
