Covid, the data: 220 thousand infections, yet another record. Nearly 300 dead and 727 more hospitalized

Yet another record of infections from SARS-CoV-2 in 24 hours: they are 220.532 against 101,762 yesterday. The number of dead is also growing, 294 versus 227. The swabs tried were 1.375.514, for a positivity rate that remains stable at 16%. The patients admitted to intensive care are 1.677, 71 more yesterday in the daily balance between income and resignations, with 185 new entries. The hospitalized in the ordinary wards instead are 17.067, or 727 more than yesterday.
