‘Clifford – The Giant Red Dog 2’ goes there…

According to the THR, a Paramount Pictures announced that the hybrid movie ‘Clifford – The Giant Red Dog’ will gain a sequel.

The decision came shortly after the extremely high revenue of the feature film, which reached the mark of $22.2 million in the United States with just five days of airing.

Details about the sequel were not revealed.

The feature will be released in national cinemas at December 2nd.

Directed by Walt Becker, ‘Clifford’ is based on the novels of the same name by Norman Bridwell, which revolve around a dog and its owner, Emily Elizabeth. the feature, starring Darby Camp (‘Big Little Lies’), will bring the girl trying to reconcile her life at home and at school until she crosses paths with the title character, believing he is destined to become her best friend. What she doesn’t foresee is the sporadic growth of Clifford, who transforms into a gigantic animal and eventually comes to the attention of a geneticist company that wants to kidnap him.

John Cleese, Sienna Guilory, Izaac Wang, Kenan Thompson, Rosie Perez e David Alan Grier complete the cast.

Jay Scherick, David Ronn, Annie Mumolo e Stan Chervin are in charge of the script.
