Cigarettes, alcohol … Brad Pitt has decided to stop everything and Angelina Jolie is no stranger to all that

It’s never too late to change! Brad Pitt understood it well. Indeed, the American star was chosen for the cover of the last issue of QG, from August 2022, on newsstands next July 17. The 58-year-old actor has talked a lot about his health, his sobriety. A path he took after splitting from Angelina Jolie in 2016. He joined Alcoholics Anonymous, and confessed to being happy to have found a group “very private and selective” who will not betray his trust. “I had a very cool group that was very private and selective so I felt comfortable,” he explained. “I remember people taping Philip Seymour Hoffman when he was indulging in his band, and it’s just so excruciating.”

He also made the decision to quit smoking during the Covid-19 pandemic. The comedian initially wanted to limit the number of cigarettes he smoked each day but eventually decided to quit altogether. “I don’t have the strength to smoke only one or two cigarettes a day. That’s not who I am. I have to quit completely. I lost my privileges”he revealed.

The one who recognizes being in the “last step” of his career, spoke of loneliness. “I’ve always felt very alone in my life… alone when I was a kid, alone even here (in Hollywood, editor’s note), and it’s really only recently that I’ve had a bigger embrace of my friends and my family. What is that line, it was Rilke or Einstein, believe it or not, but (…) when you can walk with the paradox, when you carry real pain and real joy simultaneously, it is maturity, it is growth”.

In addition to being on our newsstands, Brad Pitt will make his return to the cinema since he is in the cast of Bullet Train, the new film by David Leitch. In this action film which will be released in theaters on July 20, he will give the reply to Sandra Bullock, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, or even Bad Bunny.
