It is just a few weeks ago that TV host Christiane Schaumburg-Müller shared the news that she and her fiancé Daniel Åxman had lost their unborn son in an involuntary abortion.

Christiane Schaumburg-Müller was 21 weeks into her pregnancy when the couple found out that the baby, whom they had given the name Colombus, was no longer alive.

In an Instagram story, she now opens up even more to the grief that the couple is going through right now. Here she explains that grief “comes and goes”.

‘I can hear a song touching me and then it suddenly comes tumbling down. Or I can find baby things I had already bought in a drawer and get a stab in the stomach, “says the former TV host.

She also explains that she is not always upset because she is also affected by “a huge intoxication of love for her fiancé, family and life”

‘What my boyfriend and I went through has connected us more than ever. And in the midst of all the tragedy, we also experienced some of the most beautiful. We became the parents of a little boy. Together. That day. It was hugely touching. Vulnerable. Exposing and unifying. Life is beautiful, “she writes.

Christiane Schaumburg-Müller is already the mother of her son Constantin, whom she has from her previous relationship with rapper and songwriter Liam O’Connor.

She is also a bonus mother to Daniel Åxman’s two daughters.

She and Daniel Åxman have not given up on the dream of another child together, she writes.

Christiane Schaumburg-Müller has previously given her followers on Instagram insight into the grief over the involuntary abortion. You can read more about that here.
