Charity People are delighted to be working with a Health Charity in Central London to recruit a Senior Innovation Manager.
This is a vital and key strategic role within the Fundraising Directorate and will play an important part in helping the charity achieve a step change in the growth of their net income through the identification of opportunities for the development of new fundraising products, the identification and exploitation of new technologies, and the embedding and upskilling of innovation processes across teams.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising Innovation, you will work to develop and deliver the Fundraising Innovation strategy that is designed to serve the Fundraising department along with identifying opportunities for strategic investment, opportunity development and on-going monitoring and evaluation of new fundraising initiatives. Furthermore, you will support or collaborate with other teams in continuous improvement projects.
Through overseeing new product development cycles led by the Fundraising Innovation team and collaborating with commissioning teams to deliver product tests, pilots, and on hitting success you will take a lead in developing the transition of new products into business as usual. You will also develop robust commercial cases for new product pilots and roll-out activity. The role will have line manage responsibility of the Innovation Manager and Innovation Executive.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in the principles of fundraising, data analysis, and audience identification and development. You may have worked your way up from a marketing, product marketing, innovation or direct marketing background and have elements of all of these areas across your CV.
You should be confident and skilled in leading product development cycles from the gathering of insights, to idea generation and filtration, proposition design, prototyping, testing and piloting, and monitoring and evaluation.
- Significant experience working at a senior level within fundraising (or other income generating/product development function within a commercial organisation) working on strategy and product development
- Proven ability to analyse data and in inferring and communicating insight
- Proven experience working with external suppliers and consultants, commissioning research and analysis, managing relationships and attainment of goals against budge.
