As a reminder, it was on April 23, 2018 that Émile Morin came to tell about his fight against Charcot’s disease (or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) on the set of the France 2 program. A rare neurodegenerative condition that affects between 5,000 and 7,000 people in France, but who unfortunately has no treatment.

During his time on the show, Émile had let it be known that when he learned of his illness, he wanted first of all to spread happiness among his family. “If I bring them happiness, because they say so, I bring them a lot of strength, if they are happy tomorrow, if they are all happy, my children, of course, my grandchildren and everyone, I continue to live through them”he said.
