Bridgerton Star Reveals If Duke Returns in Season 3

Regé-Jean Page left Bridgerton after the end of the first season, but fans have been clamoring for the actor’s return to this day. Now, he has revealed whether he will return to the Netflix series or not.

Rumors about the star’s return are no longer current and have occasionally made the news, but it looks like we won’t be seeing Simon anytime soon on the show.

Page posted a photo together with Jonathan Bailey in Italy, which sparked rumors when they were seen together, of course. In the caption, however, the actor made it clear about the future of his career.

“The boys are back in town. (No, I’m not going back to the series – the papers made that up). But we had the best and most stylish meeting I’ve had in a long time and truly excellent coffee and sunny day,” Regé-Jean Page wrote in the caption.

More about Bridgerton on Netflix

The production follows the story of the Bridgerton Family, a clan of aristocrats living in London during the Regency period in the early 19th century. Even lasting just a few decades, the Regency is known as a time of great advances and differentiated trends in fine arts, architecture, fashion and etiquette.

Bridgerton’s first season focuses primarily on the Bridgerton’s firstborn: Daphne. The young woman searches for true love and a marriage worthy after being introduced to society in 1813 by Queen Charlotte.

While dealing with the expectations of the elite, Daphne is forced to deal with the scandalous rumors spread by Lady Whistledown, the mysterious author of a weekly “gossip bulletin”. In season two, the focus shifts to Anthony. Even because of this, Daphne will have a smaller presence.

Bridgerton Season 2 is now available on Netflix.
