DC has canceled Wonder Girl, a comic book series featuring Yara Flor, who became known as the “Brazilian Wonder Woman,” according to Bleeding Cool.
The comic book will come to an end with its seventh issue.
Despite the cancellation, Yara Flor is expected to continue to appear in other DC comics. The character quickly became beloved among fans.
It is worth remembering that, initially, a TV series of “Brazilian Wonder Woman” was in development, but it also ended up being cancelled.
It is possible that one cancellation led to the other, as it is quite common for comic books to be created to serve as preparation for the introduction of characters in other media.
In the movies, Wonder Woman by Gal Gadot may appear in The Flash
Gal Gadot may have a cameo as Wonder Woman in The Flash. This is what the actress herself indicated in a post on Instagram.
The star shared a video showing what has happened in her life in the months of 2021. Between July and August, Gal Gadot appears being made up for what appears to be a new project as Wonder Woman.
It turns out that the DC project that was being recorded at that time was, precisely, The Flash. The participation of the actress was already being speculated, and now it seems to have been confirmed.
