Bilaspur High Court News: The latest example is the petition filed in the High Court of how the representatives of the Gram Panchayat and the officials of the State Government are making a mess in the implementation of the state government’s ambitious scheme Sarovar Dharohar Yojana. A petition has been filed in the High Court regarding the investigation of the disturbances done by the former sarpanch and secretary in the construction of the pond in the village panchayat Kormi of Bilha block. Accepting the petition, the High Court has issued notices to the former Sarpanch and Panchayat Secretary and directed them to submit their reply.

Rajeev Tandon has filed a petition in the Chhattisgarh High Court through advocate Ratnesh Agrawal, saying that the then Sarpanch and Secretary have committed a lot of corruption in the implementation of the ambitious scheme of the state government, Sarovar Dharohar Yojana. According to the petition, the then Sarpanch Ganesia Dhuvansh and the secretary have committed a mistake of eight lakh rupees in other works including pond beautification, construction and pachar construction. Huge disturbances have been committed in the name of pond deepening, CC road construction and pachar construction. The work which has been mentioned in the documents that there is nothing on the spot.

During the investigation, the matter of financial irregularities against the sarpanch and the secretary has been confirmed. Even after this no action is being taken. The police have not even registered a crime. Hearing on the petition is going on in the court. During the last hearing, the High Court has kept the petition for final hearing.

The state government has made plans to preserve and beautify the ponds. Fund has also been released under this. The existence of the ponds is in danger due to the negligence being taken by the Panchayat representatives regarding the conservation of the ponds.
