Bhilai News: Wire load trucks stolen from engineering park

Bhilai. The truck thief gang operating in the city has carried out the third theft within a week. This time the miscreants stole a truck parked in the engineering park of Hathkhoj. The truck had an HB wire load of Rs 11 lakh 25 thousand. The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera. On receiving the complaint, the Bhilai-3 police have started investigation by registering an FIR against the unknown accused under the section of theft.

Police said Arvind Jain, director of Avanta Engineering Pvt Ltd located at Engineering Park, has lodged an FIR of theft. On Friday night, the company arrived by loading HB wire in the truck number CG-07C 4477 of Sai Baba Transport. The train reached the company’s gate at around 9:47 pm. But, due to the rule of not allowing vehicles to enter the company after 9 pm, the driver of the truck parked the vehicle in front of the engineering park and went home. When the driver and helper reached there on Saturday morning, the truck was missing. When the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in and around the company was examined, at 11:40 pm some miscreants were seen stealing the truck. The police have started tracing the accused on the basis of the footage. It is worth mentioning here that on Tuesday also a truck was stolen from Khursipar. But, the police recovered him from near Baikunthdham on the basis of CCTV footage. Apart from this, a truck was recovered from Nikum.
