– Warning: Spoilers for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” follow! –
“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” Like “Spider-Man: No Way Home” could fill the cinemas by storm and prove that fans still appreciate the cinema experience. In Doctor Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) adventure into the multiverse, he will once again be joined by Wong (Benedict Wong), and Wanda Maximoff’s (Elizabeth Olsen) story will also continue after the events of WandaVision.
At the end of the film, the usual post-credit scene, in this case the mid-credit scene, appears, but also the new character clea on that of Actionstar Charlize Theron (“Mad Max: Fury Road”) is played. The actress has now revealed her appearance in “Doctor Strange 2” with two pictures via Instagram:
Although the pictures do not reveal any details about the plot, since Clea can only be seen at the end of the Marvel film and her name is not mentioned directly, the actress has certainly spoiled some fans who have not yet seen the film. If you already know “Doctor Strange 2”, our video is worth it:
Marvel writer explains the new character Clea
Who exactly Clea is and how she fits into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is revealed by Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness author Michael Waldron on the Hero Nation podcast deadline betray:
“First of all – Charlize Theron, holy shit! We always knew we wanted to introduce Clea at some point. She’s something of Doctor Strange’s love in the comics, but in many ways, she’s also an equal sorceress. Her backstory is fascinating, being the niece of Dormammu, the giant floating head from the first film […] They have great adventures in the comics and we wanted to introduce them. But we felt that to some extent we had to complete the love story with Christine Palmer – Rachel McAdams’ character […] And then Clea shows up and we’ll see what happens next between the two.”
The scene in the end credits of “Doctor Strange 2” could of course provide a preview of “Doctor Strange 3”. However, Clea’s story may well continue in a completely different Marvel project. Theron may even get her own series. It would definitely be conceivable.
