Before the start of the new season
Katzenberger: Lucas fits perfectly into the jungle
“Straw widow” Daniela Katzenberger raves about her husband Lucas Cordalis on Instagram. He is already in South Africa, where he will soon move into the jungle camp. Katzenberger is certain: Lucas has everything it takes to become king of the jungle.
The new season of the jungle camp will start soon. Also present in far away South Africa: Lucas Cordalis. His wife, Daniela Katzenberger, is now reporting to her Instagram followers as a “straw widow from Malle”. In a series of stories, she first tells how “weird” it is that Lucas has been gone “for a few days”. The couple lives with their daughter Sophia on the Balearic island of Mallorca. Cordalis is currently already in quarantine in South Africa.
“I’ll tell you: he’s looking forward to the jungle camp so brutally,” reveals the reality TV star. He is currently still living “like the grub in the bacon” in a fantastic lodge. But: “I think they get used to this luxury so that it will be a shock in the jungle camp,” the cat speculated with a laugh.
Hard training in Mallorca
She trusts the musician – and also the son of the first jungle king Costa Cordalis (1944-2019) – but also a lot. “There is probably no one who fits better into the jungle camp than Lucas, because he is super frugal and used to a lot – he is also with me – and he can also eat a lot,” she says.
But he also has what it takes to be a king of the jungle in terms of character: “He hates it when it’s unfair. And he always sticks with the weaker. And if Lucas hates one thing in particular, it’s blasphemy,” says Katzenberger. If she blasphemes herself, he says: “Hey darling, be careful, there are two options now. Either you say it to people’s faces or you shut up, because that says a lot about you too,” quoted her long-term partner not without pride. “It’s a real anti-riot Greek, that’s why it fits in there perfectly,” enthuses Katzenberger.
Whether Lucas Cordalis actually becomes king of the jungle, you can see in “I’m a star – get me out of here!” from January 21 at 9:30 p.m. on RTL and RTL+.
