Be careful if you plan to eat a hamburger this Friday evening or this weekend: customers are asked not to eat them!

The Belki company recalls, in consultation with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca), the halal and natural chicken burgers of the Carrefour brand (Belki) due to the possible presence of salmonella.

Belki NV asks its customers not to consume these products and to return them to the point of sale where they were purchased where they will be reimbursed.

These are halal and natural chicken burgers from the Carrefour brand (Belki) with expiry dates (DLC) respectively May 13, 2022 and May 15, 2022. The products bear batch numbers 220505012 with DLC 15 /5/2022 and 220502020 with DLC 13/5/2022.

These burgers were marketed by Carrefour supermarkets between May 2 and May 6, 2022.
