Batgirl: JK Simmons reveals when filming will begin

Actor JK Simmons, who plays Commissioner Gordon, has revealed when shooting will begin on the Batgirl movie, produced for HBO Max.

The actor recalled: “Leslie Grace plays Batgirl and I think I’ll be meeting her and the director in the next few days to do some rehearsals before arriving on set. Simmons further explained talking about the project: “I’ve talked a lot about how they want to portray Gordon and the script … I don’t want to give too much away, so I’m not going to talk about the story structure or any other details, but I thought it was a really cool approach to introduce Batgirl and give Jim more depth. The Batgirl script was written by Christina Hodson, while Kristin Burr is on the producing team, and Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will be involved as directors.
