The music world mourns one of its own. Since 1958 it was Ted Herold active in the music industry. The singer, whose real name is Harald Schubring, was considered a German Elvis Presley (✝42), as he mainly covered hits by the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll until the 1960s. With Udo Lindenberg (75), the native of Berlin even appeared on stage several times during one of his Germany tours. It has now been announced that Ted and his wife died in an apartment fire.
As image now reported, a fire broke out in the couple’s home in Dortmund on Saturday evening, which cost the “I am a man” interpreter and his wife Manuela their lives. Around 6:20 p.m., the neighbors had notified the fire brigade because thick smoke had billowed from the first floor of the apartment building.
