Slowly, but surely, things are progressing for the third installment on the smallest Avengers of the bunch. After the confirmation of the casting of Bill Murray in Ant-Man 3, it is now the turn of the film’s status to be confirmed. On Twitter, the director Peyton Reed has indeed posted a message (see below) in which he announces that the main shoot has officially been completed and that he is eager to show the result to the spectators. As a bonus, the filmmaker also shared the work of a digital artist. If we put aside potential reshoots, Ant-Man 3 is therefore probably ready to move on to post-production.

So far, no major plot details have been released, not even the involvement of a certain Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man 3. Paul Rudd, the interpreter of Scott Lang, however recently complimented the performance of Jonathan Majors as the role of the antagonist introduced in Loki. It is also a much less sympathetic version of the character who could land in this new film, if not several. Scott and the Van Dynes have better watch out!

MCU fans, always ready to whip up any theory, also expect Ant-Man 3 serves as a springboard for the arrival of the Fantastic 4s. The superfamily are particularly eagerly awaited, and are already suspected of being the new owner of the Avengers tower whose sale was made official in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Now all that remains is to be patient, and wait for some crisp new details on Ant-Man 3 be revealed. It might not be long!
