Andrew Garfield says his ‘Spider-Man’ WOULD NOT like Iron Man

Spider-Man (Tom Holland) of the MCU was heavily influenced by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) since the characters met in ‘Captain America: Civil War’.

From ‘Spider-Man: Back Home’ until ‘Avengers: Endgame‘, Iron Man took on a mentor role for the arachnid.

But would the other versions of Webhead have the same connection to Iron Man?

During an interview for the GQ, Andrew Garfield, who played Peter Parker in ‘The spectacular Spider Man‘ 1 and 2, was asked the same question.

However, he said that his character would not be a Stark fan.

“I definitely think my Spider-Man would have a lot of suspicion against MCU’s Iron Man. In fact, I think he’d be a little uncomfortable with Tony Stark’s excessive, billionaire, and self-centered status. I think that would affect my version of Spider-Man.”

“But maybe there could be some connection between them. Maybe my Peter Parker could wake up Tony Stark and make him a little less obsessed with himself.
